On this page of the setup section, you are able to personalise the email notifications that are sent to your customers.
- Adding a logo
- Changing colours (Plus and Pro only)
- What your customers will see on their bank statements
Adding a logo
Click Upload a logo and select the logo file from your computer/device
Once uploaded, you will see the logo replace your business name at the top of the example form.
You can also use the toggle at the top to see an example of how this will appear on notification emails.
Changing colours (Plus and Pro only)
If you are using our Plus or Pro packages, you are also able to change the colours that appear on the mandate form and notifications. This feature is not available on our Standard package.
1. Click on the item you would like to change.
The colour will update on the preview to the right of the page

You can also use the toggle at the top to see an example of how this will appear on notification emails.
2. To reset colours back to the default, click Reset colours
What your customers will see on their bank statements
If you are using our Standard package, your customers will see "GOCARDLESS" on their bank statements when they make a payment to you. The bank may also display the customer's mandate reference. You can add a 12 character reference (letters and numbers only) to help customers recognise these payments.
Simply type your chosen reference into the Reference field provided.
Please note: This only applies if you've selected our Standard package, where this reference will be provided as part of the full reference for inclusion on your customers' bank statements.
If you've selected the Plus or Pro package, your business name will appear on your customers' bank statements in place of "GOCARDLESS".
