Whilst we aim to verify all payout bank accounts automatically via the verification payment, in some cases the transaction narrative doesn’t match what our system is expecting. When this happens, we will ask you to upload a recent bank statement to verify ownership of the bank account before we can settle any funds to it.

GoCardless can accept clear colour photos of the following:
- Bank statement
- Screenshot of online banking
- Bank account opening letter
- Official letter of proof from your bank (confirming the account holder name and account details)
